With its food safe finish, this will make a very nice salad bowl , The dark lines in highlight the coves on the outside and the grain pattern inside is remarkable. It can be used as a salad bowl but I would caution against using dark dressings as this may stain the wood.. It can be washed with a soapy dish cloth rinsed and dried quickly. It will hold enough salad for 4-6 people.
